Organization Of Hope
Since 2009, Dr. Patrecia Williams has worked to improve the lives of children, adults and families at Organization of Hope, a nonprofit offering care services in the Baltimore and Washington areas.
In 2018, the organization launched a program called Hope on Wheels, which provides shower and laundry services, andCOVID-19 support to more than 20,000 individuals and animals in the area.
Individuals who have benefitted from Organization of Hope’s services describe Williams as going “above and beyond and out of her way” to help staff and service recipients.
“There were many days and nights where I needed help or had questions or just needed to talk and Williams was always there, going out of her way to assist and just talk,” one service recipient said.
During her tenure, Organization of Hope has grown its revenue to $500,000 annually, housed more than 15,000 people and donated more than 158,000 articles of clothing.
Williams holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and management from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, a master’s degree from the National Graduate School of Quality Management and a doctorate from Hartford University.
For more than 21 years, Williams has held several roles in the military. She previously held a position at The Home Depot, within its leadership program and currently works as an adjunct professor at Southern New Hampshire University.
