A renowned speaker and community leader, Dr. Patrecia Williams followed her dream and vision to develop a community service organization dedicated to enriching lives and improving communities throughout the Greater Washington / Baltimore Metropolitan Area. In 2009, The Organization of Hope (OOH) was formed. As Founder and Executive Director of OOH, Dr. Williams manages the organization’s board relations, corporate affairs, strategic planning, and organizational governance / cultural efforts.
Dr. Williams also serves as the Chief Financial Officer for AMO Consulting Solutions and is an Adjunct Professor for Southern New Hampshire University. She works as an advisor to organizations, including the government, where she oversees major projects and studies of critical importance to decision-makers and mission. Dr. Williams is assigned as a reservist serving as the Reserves Captains Career Course Director and Special Project Officer with Soldier Support Institute’s Financial Management School at Fort Jackson, SC.
Dr. Williams possesses 20+ years expertise managing enterprise-wide projects in a variety of industry executive and staff positions with Home Depot, Washington Metropolitan Transit Authority, UPS, non-profits, and other federal agencies.
Additionally, she served 7+ years as a GS15 government employee on the Secretary of the Army’s staff within Headquarters, Department of the Army (Pentagon). Throughout her government tenure, she forged the Army’s business transformation network. Throughout the last 22 years, Dr. Williams has supported our country in uniform; serving with distinction as both a non-commissioned officer and a Distinguished Military Graduate (DMG) Army Officer in the Medical, Chemical, and Finance Corps.
An executive risk taker, Dr. Williams knows that “what got you here; won’t get you there”. She collaborates with forward-thinkers and intelligent risk takers. Dr. Williams is known as one who takes on turnarounds that no one in their right mind would touch. Using her holistic core competencies, diverse experiences, catalyst with an eye for detail, Dr. Williams helps organizations realize their financial dreams and develop and inspire people to achieve unseen opportunities. Dr. Williams’ life philosophy is “What you make happen for others, God will make happen for you.”
Originally from North Carolina, Dr. Williams holds a BS, Marketing and Management from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro; an MS in Quality Systems Management from National Graduate School; and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Organizational Management and Leadership from the University of Hartford.
